Key Tax Filing Dates
April 15 – Deadline for filing 2020 tax returns.
October 15 – Deadline to file for those requesting an extension on their 2020 tax returns
Account Contribution Deadlines for 2020
IRA/Roth IRA – April 15th
$6,000 per taxpayer
$7,000 for taxpayers age 50 and over
SEP IRA – April 15th or October 15th for extensions
25% of compensation up to $57,000
Oregon College Savings 529 – April 15th
state income tax credit up to $300 for joint filers and up to $150 for single filers
The contribution needed to maximize the tax credit depends on the AGI of the contributor
