Dear Friends,

We hope this finds you well and enjoying our beautiful summer season. We have attached links to a quarterly market update and a brief overview of the recent tax legislation that was passed. Additionally, since several team members will be taking sabbaticals soon (beginning with Keith later this month), we’ve also included a link to an article that details the purpose, value, and importance of sabbaticals. Ever since Dave took his first sabbatical about 6 years ago, we have made this a priority for all of our team members at IFS. More than just enjoying an extended vacation, this is a focused pause where we read, strategize with a personal coach, and take time for intentional reflection and self-care. The hoped-for outcome is that we emerge from the sabbatical refreshed and able to continue doing the work we love with a greater degree of wisdom, peace, and sustainability. Rest assured that if you ever reach out to one of us and discover that we’re out of the office, you can always contact anyone else on the IFS Team, and we will make sure you are well taken care of.
